We are very excited about our German Spitz breed here at Kingsfield. Desending down from the old German "Kleber" family, it's an honor and a privilege to re-live that family heritage and now own this truly unique breed of dogs.
As German Spitz breeders in the USA (with both the Klein and the Mittel varieties as recognized by the UKC) we look forward to promoting this beautiful breed with quality stock to help it become more recognized and established here in the United States.
Smoke (11") came to us from Marquis Kennels in California and is a true joy. He began his show career at just 7 months of age. At his very first show, starting from the puppy class, Smoke went Best in Show (over champions and grand champions) at the Great Southern Kennel Club in Long Beach, MS, finished his Grand Championship in December 2010 and was the No. 1 German Spitz in the UKC for 2010 and (with very limited showing) finished as No. 10 for 2011.
"Spanky" was the Number One German Spitz in the UKC during 2009. He was the first German Spitz to ever go Best-in-Show in the UKC, so needless to say, we are thrilled with this major accomplishment. And still going strong, he just won Best of Breed at the very first specialty show put on by The German Spitz Association, the UKC recognized breed club for the German Spitz, which was held during UKC Premier 2011. Spanky ranked as the No. 4 German Spitz for 2011.

In 2009 the German Spitz was first shown in the UKC and at the UKC Premier (equivalent to the AKC Westminister), with over 1500 dogs in competition, Spanky won Northern Group 2nd at this special event.
Spanky (11 3/4") has now sired his first litters of pups and we're really excited to get them into the ring. He was ranked as the No. 3 German Spitz in the UKC for 2010 !!!

This stunning 11" chocolate gal arrived from Australia to join our family here in the US. Koko has been a smiling joy from the moment she arrived, and we're looking forward to her future accomplishments.
At the 2010 UKC Premier, Koko went Best Female at each of the shows. And most recently, Koko competed in a four-show UKC weekend in Athens, TN where she went Best in Multi-Breed Show (pictured above), one Reserve Best in Multi-Breed Show, and took Northern Group 1st at all four shows. Koko finished her championship at the Great Southern Kennel Club show in December 2010 and was tied as the No. 4 German Spitz in the UKC for 2010 !!. For more pictures of Koko, click on the link to her page below.
Finishing her Championship at the "ripe old age" of 6 months and 4 days old, Sicle (10 3/4") gained her title in just one weekend (four shows) by going Best of Winners and Best of Breed three times and then on to win two Group 2nds over other champions and grand champions. She is the daughter of the 2009 No. 1 German Spitz here in the US, our Gr. Ch. Marquis On Top at Kingsfield (pictured above) and out of UKC & Intl. Ch. Sheminee American Dream. We will now be working toward her Grand Championship and perhaps she can do as well as her dad. Sicle is cream colored with matching pigment and was the No. 6 German Spitz in the UKC for 2010 !!!!!.

Dream, cream colored with matching pigment, was our very first German Spitz and obtained her International Championship at 8 months of age. Here is a picture of Dream winning Best in Show at a Rarities event where she obtained her International Champion title.
Dream finished her UKC Championship in Long Beach, MS in April of 2010 and was the No. 7 German Spitz in the UKC for 2010 !!!!

Here at Kingsfield, our Good Time "Charlie" is a prime example of the teriffic personality of the German Spitz breed......always ready for a party to happen. This Cream and White parti colored boy finished his UKC Championship at just under 8 months old, all in one weekend (four shows) with four group placements; Northern Group 2nd, Group 1st, Group 4th and Group 3rd consecutively. This home-bred Mittel boy is 12 1/2" tall and sired by UKC Grand Ch. Marquis On Top at Kingsfield and out of UKC Ch. & Int'l Ch. Sheminee American Dream. With his flashy personally and lush coat, we're looking forward to a very successful year of competition as he heads toward his Grand Championship.

"Cappi" is our newest little girl here at Kingsfield. This tiny chocolate sable Klein is out of two of our Best in Multi-Breed Show winners, UKC Gr. Ch. Marquis On Top At Kingsfield (sire) and UKC Ch. Fyreburst Koko Kisses (dam) so we're hopeful that she follows in her parents' footsteps. So full of life and personality, Cappi will be making her way into the show rings as a Novice Puppy during the winter months in 2011-2012 and we're looking forward to watching her grow and progress.

This tiny Klein boy is ready to make his way into the show rings ....well, almost. Born on 10/28/11, "Rocky" is out of our Best in Multi-Breed Show winning UKC Gr. Ch. Marquis Smokin' at Kingsfield and UKC Ch. Kingsfield Dreamsicle. Pictured here at 3 months old, this cream sable boy with blue pigment moves like a rocket and has a blue-cream flowing coat, already at a length that most older dogs don't have. We're looking forward to showing this boy in the puppy classes as the spring 2012 show season will soon be upon us.
